The Yorkshire Pudding offers a friendly chilled atmosphere with great weather (usually!). It has two marquees for entertainment, one hosting a big stage with bands playing both nights and a comedy show during the day on Saturday. The other smaller marquee is a more chilled real ale marquee with a small stage with artists playing both evenings. A great selection of traders selling bike related stuff and food vans selling to notch food from pizza, fish and chips, burgers and curry, to donuts. As with all our rallies we make sure the best toilet providers work twenty four hours a day to keep everything clean and fresh for you. All our rallies have twenty four hour litter pickers so none of our sites have a litter build up.
WE WANT YOUR RALLIES WITH US TO BE THE BEST RALLIES YOU GO TO.
Ride free and Party with a Purpose.
The YPR was originally conceived by a Bike club called Barnsley Bikers Mcc over 20 years ago. Yorkshire MAG took the rally over and it is now organising the 14th YPR. The first rallies by Barnsley Bikers and subsequently Yorkshire MAG were held at Silverwood Scout Camp near Barnsley. As the rally had grown in size the Silverwood site became a little too tight and another Scout Camp was found in Chapeltown near Sheffield called Hesley Wood in 2008. Hesley Wood helped the rally become more popular than ever and a pre-book ticket only system had to be put in place. With local development and rumours of the high speed train line running through the site the decision to move on was made. After an extensive search for the perfect site was launched and the Good people and site of Escrick Estate located between York and Selby on the A19 was chosen in 2013 and we have been happy holding the Pudding here ever since.
With the Pudding being in its fifth year at Escrick the rally still sells out on pre-book ticket sales every year so its first come first served for anyone who wishes to attend Yorkshire MAG’s last rally of the season. The Pudding has been blessed with great weather and it’s become well known with a laid back chilled rally atmosphere that is set in a great part of Yorkshire with great roads taking you there.
